Robert Griffin, D.D.S.

Dr-Griffin.jpgDr. Robert Griffin has been practicing orthodontics for 40+ years. His expertise is in all phases of orthodontics. He focuses on early prevention and has a special interest in helping patients with TMJ problems. Dr. Griffin has written extensively on various orthodontic topics and has been published in the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics Journal as well as other dental publications.

Dr. Griffin is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists, a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and a member of the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics. He is also a member of the Pierre Fauchard Honorary Society and has been an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Pacific School of Dentistry since 1980. Dr. Griffin attended the University of Colorado, received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from Northwestern University, had an oral surgery internship at Georgetown University, and practiced oral surgery in the U.S. Navy for two years. He then attended Columbia University where he received his Certificate in Orthodontics.

Dr. Griffin has served as an orthodontic consultant for the Craniofacial Panel at Children’s Hospital in Oakland and presently serves on the Marin County Dental Care Foundation.

Dr. Griffin’s hobbies include fly-fishing and racing a vintage sports car.
